Review of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) by Laeticia B — 26 Apr 2014
SlumDog Millionnaire is an action and romantic film directed by Danny Boyle. The main characters, Jamal Malik, is a orphan from the slums of Mumbai who lived all is lifetime a lots of problems. He tells all of this when he was put in custody for cheating in a very famous game show where he won 20 million rupees. It's Dev Patel, for the older, and Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, for the younger, who play Jamal brilliantly.
I found the plot very attractive, recount the children's life and adventure by means of a questioning is different and better. this movie can please for evryone through his differents genres: adventure and sometime action with the Jamal's adventure, romantic with the sentiment of Jamal and Latika, the moral with the poverty of the slum,... is throught-provoking. The ending is very surprising too.
For me, this movie is compellig, riveting, moving,... I enjoy SlumDog Millionnaire and to finish this reviews, I recommend this film for anyone doesn't see this film.
