Slumdog Millionaire was directed by Danny Boyle in 2008 but he was written by Simon Beaufoy. This movie is really famous all over the world, it is a true blockbuster movie. It's a drama. In this movie actors are Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Mia Drake, Anil Kappor and Madhur Mittal but these actors before Slumdog Millionaire were not know. Dev Patel is Jamal, the main character in the movie.

The film takes place in India, in the slums of mumbai where Jamal and his brother, Salim lived with their mother. Their mother has been killed. After this Jamal and Salim left in the wild with nothing.

Thereafter Jamal wants to play at the famous TV game show : «Who wants to be a millionnaire ? » just to search Latika, his childhood friend but Jamal love so much Latika and he is abble to do everything to find Latika. Jamal happens in the final but the police think he cheated to succeed in this game but when the police interrogate Jamal he explains how he knows the answers with part of his life. The police and the presenter were surprised when at the end Jamal, a poor tea server win the game and the 20 millions just with his brain and nothing else. Jamal and latika get back together for the life, new life with money and love forever. I like this movie so much because the life experiences of Jamal are incredible and affecting. The acting and the plot are very good ! To conclude this movie is almost perfect !
