It's quite astonishing that a movie with so many possibilities is so dead on ideas.

There is a massive lack of excitement and adventure and we also have a little girl who can't interact properly with the two adults with whom she shares the most screen time, Jason Momoa and Chris O'Dowd, so following the plot with interest becomes complicated.

Slumberland was aiming very high and while it is on Netflix's top 10, which is already a success, it's a movie that will quickly become another of the streaming giant's constant disappointments.
