Review of Slow West (2015) by Emma M — 26 Jul 2015
Small scaled but sincere, Slow West is a carefully crafted tale of the boundaries of love. The contrast in the two leads offers an interesting study of companionship. On one had, we see Jay, a young boy helplessly in love.
Opposed to him is Silas, a former bounty hunter who has never known comfort or love. Ben Mendelson's imposing figure is another daunting feature of the film. For fans of spaghetti westerns, Slow West is a delicate treat.
