Review of Slither (2006) by Elian D — 01 Aug 2013
Lacks tightness. It is very inconsistent. Other than that, and the fact that the slugs look cheap, is well done.
The problem is that we've seen every "Invasion of the body snatchers" ripoff and variation to even think this is original, plus it isn't remotely as funny (nor suspenseful, scary or gross) as they led you to believe in the promotional material.
Loved Banks, Rooker was criminally underused, and the rest of the cast gave such uninspired performances you would think they didn't think much of the script. And rightfully so.
