I remembered this movie back in 2006 and thought it was good, so decided to check it out again to make my review and don't remember much, so here it is.

Starts off when a meteor surprisingly didn't crash the earth and no one know about it, lands in the woods in a small town where Grant Grant (Michael Rooker), a rich business man who is married to a young biology teacher, Starla (Elizabeth Banks), finds slim in behind a bar. He follows it and ends up by the meteor, it bursts, and gets infected. Grant starts to change and evolve into a meat-eating octopus kinda creature and starts terrorising the town. Starla and sheriff Bill (Nathan Fillion) has to end this creature and save the world.

"Slither" is basically a remake of Night Of The Creeps, if you want to consider it that if you do it's a damn good remake. You would think it would just be okay or you (or just me) wouldn't expect too much cause it looked cheesy, but it's a superb with a 50s or 60s kinda feel.

James Gunn's "Slither" doesn't have much scares, it's more for the creeps when for example, when you have dead dogs and cats in Starla's basement, and these slugs everywhere. I feel the slugs should of been used more than it would have been scary. "Slither" doesn't work much on scares, but works more on creeps, creepy looks, and laughs to have a good time and for it's genre. Hey, aliens, zombies, gore, comedy what else to ask?
