Review of Slither (1973) by Dalton H — 14 Sep 2009
Maybe I'm not the right audience for this, but Slither is far from being either funny or scary. Its humor is entirely too obvious, mistakes obnoxiousness for cleverness, and seems more focused on splatter and gore than an interesting story.
Well, you succeeded James Gunn. You've turned in a film that may be vomit-inducing, but also wholly forgettable. Plus, he fuglied Jenna Fischer. That is just so wrong.
