Review of Slither (1973) by Nate A — 23 Mar 2011
Pretty decent little horror-comedy that combines 'The Thing', 'Evil Dead', and any number of zombie classics. It's fairly brainless and cliche', but there's some fun scares and gore as well as a few genuinely funny moments.
The awful southern accents are a little off-putting and the hillybilly cliche's don't help things either. Fillion lacks the devil-may-care charm he brought to 'Firefly'.
Still, if it's dumb gory fun you're after, this ought to fit the bill nicely.
