Review of Sling Blade (1996) by Bryan W — 15 Dec 2008
Good all around acting, particularly by Billy Bob Thornton, this film seems overly long and more than a little convenient and contrived from the first minute. Fortunately Thornton's acting carries the weight of the piece, but one wishes that, as a writer, he could give Karl some more interesting things to do.
