A well-enough done piece from Billy Bob who delves deeply into an intriguing character and loses any trace of Billy Bobness, fortunately. Heavy reliance on long shots, for better and worse, and recalls at times the observational feeling of Lbue Velvet as tense and haunting scenes unfold.
Straight forward in where it was heading but well told in how it got there.
