The worlds introduction to Billybob Thorten. And what an intro. I've heard so much about the movie that I had to sit down and check it out.

Sometimes movies are like investments, in that, there are times where little a small deposit of attention and time makes for great returns. This movie would fall under the category of "medium risk-high reward". The first half had its moments but for the most part I wasn't sold. A couple interesting characters help increase he watch ability of a pretty predictable storyline. But as I got into it more it transformed into a Forrest Gump meets I dunno what. I say Forrest because it's in the south, with a lot of the same characters. But let me tell you that on the tail end is where your time and energy start to pay off. No spoilers but I'm glad I saw this one through to the end.
