Billy Bob Thornton gives one of the absolute pristine performances in film. A master class in method acting. What strays me from loving this film is the predictability, and the stereotypes portrayed by a few of the characters that surround Karl.
Even at it's glacial running time, Sling Blade is a very interesting piece.
