Review of Sliding Doors (1998) by Anne F — 21 Mar 2009
I'm sure we've all wondered how our lives would have been different if we had made minor changes to our actions - in this film Helen (Gwyneth Paltrow)'s life is followed after she catches/misses a train and discovers/doesn't discover her boyfriend being unfaithful. The two stories intertwine nicely and the outcome made me wonder about 'fate'.
Of course the real question is would Helen be better off without the lying, cheating, rotten b*st*rd? -that's much more important than the question of parallel lives! 8/10.
