Review of Sleuth (2007) by Kelli H — 11 May 2008

I love Michael Cain, I think he is one of the most talented actors of his generation. But not even he can make this film a good one. This movie actually started out really great, the first 20 minutes or so really had me into it. But it's down hill from there. There are one or two gripping moments throughout, but overall it was boring, pointless, and Jude Law gives his typical horrible acting job. The guy can't do an accent outside of his natural British to save his life.

(Interesting Fact: This is a re-make. Michael Cain starred in this film in 1972 with Lawrence Oliver, in which he played the role that Jude Law plays in the newer version. Interesting...but still not a good movie. ).
