Review of Sleuth (2007) by Daniel K — 13 May 2008
There's something about this film that I just didn't like. You could really tell that it had been adapted from a stage play as it features wall-to-wall dialogue with not much else going on. Michael Caine is good but I'm not a big fan of Jude Law.
The ultra-modern country mansion setting just has no character either. Not particularly enjoyable, but Caine's performance saves it from being a total disaster.
