Review of Sleuth (2007) by Ana R — 04 Jan 2009
I've been reading a lot of people who don't quite grasp Pinter's stylised dialogue and call it 'bad and 'pretentious.' That's like saying Beckett wrote 'flat' dialogue in 'Endgame!' Caine and Law do this brilliantly.
I usually hate films that showcase all sorts of 'gagets' and computer technology... but this one somehow got away with it. Loved the blue hew and the incredible photography.
