I actually found this to be a great movie even though it was unable to have the surprises of the original. The acting is what really made this a notch above Kenneth Brannagh's other play adaptions.
The production value was also great from what I've come to expect from his work. Jude Law and Michael Caine were perfect together and you couldn't ask for better tension.
