Review of Sleuth (2007) by Lee B — 28 Jan 2011
I really admire this film. Kenneth Bransugh's re-imagining of the 1972 film is an absorbing feature. A claustrophobic atmosphere surrounds the picture and is mounted by incredible performances from Jude Law and Michael Caine, and the cinematography is definitely something to stare at.
The end result is a magnificently paced and crafted film. The set designs are gorgeous and the finale is well done.
