Review of Sleuth (1972) by Jared M — 04 Jul 2008
I've said it before, but let me reiterate that I believe Kenneth Branagh to be one of the film industry's most underrated assets both on screen and behind the camera. A desciple of the theatre, Branagh presents this two man show with intimacy and dramatic flare.
The atmosphere is cold and immaculate but Jude Law and Michael Cane work from a and brilliantly wrought script and go head-to-head with dynamic intensity. Fantastic.
