Review of Sleight (2017) by Jess C — 29 Apr 2017

This movie was a heavy, at times unnerving, slow burner of a movie(the finale so worth it). The concept for the main character was amazing, if you don't find yourself rooting for him the whole movie(even though he is forced into some very not cool corners) then something is very wrong with you.

Bo, the main character, has some relatively impossible choices to make that are lose lose.. and that is where the movie is at it's best. Mr. Latimore killed this role, the supporting actors also did an amazing job.

If you would like to see a cast that centers on the struggles of a good person trying to get by in the hood, while doing right by his sister/family then this is your movie.
