Review of Sleepy Hollow (1999) by Kevin M — 27 Sep 2012

I clearly liked this film a lot more than anyone else did, but you have to admit that as far as Burton's darkness goes, this is about the darkest of the bunch. I'd do into depth, but the cast is the cast is the cast.

I wouldn't have cast Christina fucking Ricci, or even hired her to make the egg salad on set, but I'm not Burton. Fuck, even Hitchcock cast actress that did more for his libido than his production.

In any case, I thought this was captivating and interesting, dark and twisted, all that plus Christopher Walken as the Headless Horseman, awesome.
