Tim Burton did an amazing job creating a dark yet somewhat lighthearted feel for this old legend. Johnny Depp is great, as is Christina Ricci. The movie does get a little bit on the violent side toward the final act, but it's not over the top.
Check this one out if your in the mood for some dark Burton-style fun.
