Review of Sleepy Hollow (1911) by Bharanidaran R — 16 Sep 2013
A horror movie that does not always play its plot against the aftermath of a gruesome murder or any such predictable nonsense. This is a very neatly scripted movie and Burton's best. The premise is more of a suspense novel than a movie, however as you move on you believe this movie has more heart than most of its counterparts.
A detective turned ghost hunter solves a murder case, simple as that. It doesn't have the chills and unwarranted ghouls roaming all around, but is sure is a head turner.
