Review of Sleepwalking (2008) by Fallon B — 03 Jul 2008
Wow, I actually really liked this. Despite the fact that it's depressing. If you can manage to look past that at the message, it saves the movie a little bit.
The acting was, of course, wonderful.
Nick Stahl did perfectly as a man who has suffered a lot of personal anguish. You must notice AnnaSophia Robb's portrayal of Tara, which was nothing short of amazing and astonishingly mature for her age.
In the few scenes that Charlize Theron was in, she too did her part justice as a mother who's just trying to make a good life for herself and her daughter.
Dennis Hopper, Woody Harrelson, and Deborra Lee-Furness were also very good in their parts.
In short, one of my favorites.
