Review of Sleepwalkers (1992) by Leia C — 28 Jun 2007
"Why don't you just think of yourself . . . as LUNCH?!" I really hope this was meant to be a horror-comedy on purpose. Featuring 20-something actors portraying high schoolers, with all the unrealistic "teenage" behavior you only see in movies, like Charles and Tanya's initial "awkward" conversation that betrays a ridiculously obvious amount of mutual attraction (some might also say it's unrealistic for a girl as attractive as Tanya to be a virgin, but trust me, you'd be surprised).
The primary "evil cat-person" face bears a strong resemblance to that of the Beast from that TV series with Linda Hamilton, and fans of Freud should, er, enjoy the openly incestuous relationship between Charles and his MILF of a mother (who's only about 15 years older than him in real life).
Featuring Clovis, the crime-fighting cat!
