By John Wirt (638) for Advocate (Baton Rouge, LA) (638) on 18 Oct 2012

Even if comedian Mike Birbiglia doesn't have more stories worth telling on film, he's done one movie that sneaks up on an audience and earns…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Steve Persall (1,105) for Tampa Bay Times (1,287) on 16 Oct 2012

I've watched Sleepwalk With Me twice now, each time impressed with Birbiglia's confidence in revealing so much about his craft and himself,…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Eric Melin (822) for Scene-Stealers.com (667) on 12 Oct 2012

It isn't the typical romcom with a happy ending and rosy outlook all around, but it spins its wheels in familiar territory too often and takes…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Tricia Olszewski (442) for Washington City Paper (500) on 04 Oct 2012

Birbiglia is boyish, a calm talker, and just meek enough to keep his punch lines surprising but not so meek that he's unlikable…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Jeffrey M. Anderson (3,573) for Common Sense Media (4,943) on 25 Sep 2012

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Jeremy Lebens (47) for We Got This Covered (2,391) on 16 Sep 2012

Ultimately, the film becomes an admirable, but flawed piece of work. The comedy bits work well, but the overall story leaves something to be desired…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By John Beifuss (1,947) for Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN) (1,944) on 16 Sep 2012

An amusing but innocuous movie that wants to be liked, loved, perhaps even hugged (Birbiglia isn't shy about exposing his love handles)…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Keith Cohen (225) for Entertainment Spectrum (633) on 15 Sep 2012

The movie is hilariously funny and witty. Although messy at times, Matt's relationship with Abby is sweet and endearing…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Joe Williams (923) for St. Louis Post-Dispatch (1,715) on 13 Sep 2012

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Mathew Dekinder (396) for Suburban Journals of St. Louis (395) on 13 Sep 2012

This is unquestionably the funniest movie you'll ever see about a doomed relationship coupled with a life-threatening sleep-disorder…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Alison Gang (138) for San Diego Union-Tribune (1,408) on 13 Sep 2012

It's not the most novel character arc in the world, but sometimes a story doesn't need to break new ground…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Tom Long (1,693) for Detroit News (2,682) on 13 Sep 2012

This is a movie for anyone who's ever been unsure, and surely that's everyone…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Steven Rea (1,872) for Philadelphia Inquirer (3,920) on 12 Sep 2012

A smart, neurotic slice-of-life comedy about a stand-up comic with confidence issues, commitment issues, and career issues…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Gary Thompson (1,554) for Philadelphia Daily News (1,596) on 12 Sep 2012

Sleepwalk with Me puts a laudably offbeat new spin on the familiar story of the slacker guy with the commitment problem…

Review of Sleepwalk with Me (2012)

By Colin Covert (1,936) for Minneapolis Star Tribune (2,416) on 12 Sep 2012
