This is something of a cult classic, but in a totally different type of cult. This is the last day of eighth grade that every unpopular girl dreams about. Yes, it's full of plot holes and yes, the dialogue is mostly ridiculous and yes, it's entirely cliche while being unbelievable.
But just go with it. It's not Gone with the Wind.
