Today's romantic films and romanctic comedies are not very good. It seems they are made for teenage girls with their bad dialogue and cliches. Sleepless in Seattle is well written and well acted unlike the Nicolas Sparks adaptations.
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are very good here. Today we have Ryan Reynolds and Gerard Butler in romance comedies, 2 bad actors, in my opinion. I didn't think much of this film at first but I decided to give it a chance and to my surprise, it's a good film that delivers laughs and romance.
