Review of Sleeping with the Enemy (1991) by Ashley C — 11 Jun 2010

I made the mistake of reading the back of the DVD case and it told me EVERYTHING that was going to happen in this movie. So, as you can imagine, there wasn't much to be had for me in this movie. No surprises, nothing. I knew what was going to happen before everything happened on screen.

I think one of the mistakes they made with this movie was that they didn't let us get to know the "good" guy she married, instead all we see is the abusive guy she's already married to. He's basically just a character to us because we only see this one side of him. I didn't think much of the guy who played the husband either, I don't he was the right person for the role.
