Review of Sleeping with Other People (2015) by Kyle G — 06 Jan 2016
Sleeping with other people wasn't a movie I was dying to see, but after watching it I know it was definitely better than the average rom com. It is predictable plotting from the get go, but it is engaging seeing Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis share the screen.
The dialogue throughout the movie is snappy and intelligent one of the reasons it edges above the average rom com. The supporting cast members including Jason Mantzoukas and Andrea Savage also have moments of pure laugh out loud comedy, another good thing about the movie.
Adam Scott in this movie is also great as a vile piece of crap and it's a credit to his acting in the way he portrays this disgusting character. One of the only things that lets this movie down is that it is predictable and it doesn't make it that special.
You have seen it all before, but this time it has more drawn out characters making it more entertaining to watch. If you're into rom coms this is one to check out!
