Review of Sleeping Beauty (2011) by Seychelle G — 29 Jun 2012

This version of Sleeping Beauty is by no means a fairy-tale. I did not understand the gloomy setting and mundane story-line. The lead character (Sleeping Beauty) seemed like an emotionless, lost soul throughout the movie.

Regardless, the sexual undertones matched with the nudity from young and elderly characters simply added to my confusion as to what was going on. Overall, this movie was weird, gloomy, confusing, lackluster and somewhat difficult to watch.
