Was interested in seeing what emily browning's work after sucker punch only to be profoundly disappointed by this so-called euro film art where nothing really happens. she plays a character with no self-respect, going through menial jobs and life with low-lives with the worst emotion of all -- indifference.
in the end, we do see a glimpse of some humanity but not much. beautifully filmed though, but conceptually a failure.
