Review of Sleeping Beauty (1959) by Antoni G — 31 Dec 2012
I loved this movie and the original fairy tale by Charles Perrault. The fact that this also has some of Tchaikovsky's music from The Sleeping Beauty ballet makes this film even more appealing. The animation is absolutely beautiful and the most captivating characters, aside from Princess Aurora, Prince Philip, King Stefan and King Hubert, are the Three Good Fairies: Flora, Fauna and Merryweather.
I also loved Maleficent because she was really awesome as a Disney villain and the epic battle between her and Prince Philip was intense. Overall, a great movie for all to enjoy!
