Review of Sleepers (1996) by Richard W — 15 Mar 2009
Supposedly based on a true story the film very skillfully makes sure you're on the side of the boys so that it can gloss over some of the more difficult moral issues. That point aside IMO its a very enjoyable, slick drama which at 148 mins doesn't rush its story and is always gripping.
Highly recommended.
