Review of Sleepers (1996) by Shannon M — 29 Oct 2009

This is a really powerful and well written story, though I don't feel that it was directed/edited as well as it could have been. The movie seemed to be rather slow in parts and probably didn't need to be as long as it was.

It could also get a little difficult to follow at times. The cast did a phenomenal job, most notable was De Niro. I believe this was one of his finest roles. It is a movie that will connect with most mature audiences, but isn't a movie that your likely to return to for a long time.
