Review of Sleepers (1996) by Justin C — 11 May 2010
This first half of this movie was brilliantly executed. The second half...wow. After watching about 10 minutes into the second half of this movie, words cannot express how boring and dull the story-line became.
The very same movie that had me at the edge of my chair, now had me having to toss my head forward every minute or two so I didn't fall asleep. This is one of the few movies that I've ever turned off and haven't finished watching.
This is the ONLY movie that I have watched more than 20 or 30 minutes of and ended up turning off. I would feel guilty if I rated this too low do to the first half. However, the second half was so insanely bad that I can't get myself to give it 2 1/2 (something I give films that I consider slightly above the "suck" rating).
Sadly, I must put this in the suck category with 2 stars.
