This has one of the best casts, ever.. Everyone is great. You can see how much talent Brad Renfro had.. it's a tragedy that he's gone.
Anyways. The movie. It starts off brilliantly. The first half is fantastic.. Nearly flawless. The second half is clearly not as good. One problem I had is that they didn't really tell the characters names, so it was easy to get confused as to who the kids grew up to be.
I really wish I could give it more stars, but the second half just isnt nearly as good.
It's not very uplifting, at all.. Things with your friends don't always end up well, though. It's bittersweet.
Give it a try.
