Review of Sleepaway Camp (1983) by Grifty G — 18 Oct 2008
Slasher film obviously made to capitalize on Friday the 13th's success. This film has terrible acting, writing and direction across the board, but that can be very entertaining in its own right. BUT, the film lulls you into thinking that it's filmmakers had no real understanding of Horror until the last 30 seconds of the film, then its goes batshit disturbing.
Classic ending that ranks with Jason popping out of the water or Carrie's hand in the grave.
