Review of Sleepaway Camp (1983) by Dylan R — 11 May 2009

Sleepaway camp has it's up's and downs as most horror fanatic's will know, but this is mostly a down! Constant bad acting, terrible plot holes and bad camera work. The movie itself wasn't completely bad, there is alot of it thats been quite good. The twist ending is one of cinema's greatest twists! But that twist cliche's itself in the second and third of the series. The story line is new and yet...old and recycled due to it's over usage of the same camp through 1-3! I'd say this movie is (of course) a cult classic, sadly the other 2 are not! This movie was overly stimulating until you see the ending, I give it 6 out of 10.
