Sleepaway Camp is a very weird horror film to watch. It's not the type of film that will be enjoyed by the majority of horror fans, however it's one of the few films that has a certain charm to it.
The film is very cheesy, it's acting, dialogue and story are tongue in cheek. This is the type of film that shouldn't be considered seriously. Sleepaway Camp blends comedic elements as well and can almost be seen as a horror comedy.
Still though not without it's faults, Sleepaway Camp is still a very good film despite it's tongue in cheek moments. The film is an awesome treat to watch, and if you like cheesy B grade movies, then Sleepaway Camp is the film for you.
