Review of SLC Punk (1998) by Don M — 27 Jun 2008
One of my favorite films. The direction is fast paced in the style of Trainspotting or even Snatch to a lesser extent. Matthew Lillard does an amazing job playing this character and it's wierd to me that he normally took shitty comedic roles after this.
Love how it shows the transition of Lillard from anarchist to sell-out. Really goes to show that we all buy into the same system, no one is exempt. Really like the relationship between Lillard and his father, as well.
