Review of Slap Shot (1977) by Mike D — 20 Dec 2007
Every hockey player (myself included) has this movie memorized, word for word. For you non-hockey players, it's still a pretty smart and fun film about the need to fill seats in minor league arenas, and how personal integrity can be compromised in the pursuit of a dream.
If nothing else, you get to see Paul Newman wearing a leather suit.
