Unlike other sports stories, this one wasn't really inspirational or anything. I didn't feel like they were overcoming anything or suceeded in anything. Even in other sports spoofs like Major League, Tin Cup, or Bull Durham, you feel the story and the triumph, however ridiculous.
I didn't feel any of that. I felt like this movie was going for the lowest humor they could possible do in that scene. Yes, it had its moments, but otherwise, just okay.
