Review of Slap Shot (1977) by Matthew J — 21 Mar 2009
I'm a big hockey fan who never saw this movie...blasphemy, right? I finally watched it this morning. I could have continued to miss out on the Slap Shot jokes and references shared by my hockey fans I think.
Some of the characters are entertaining, but it just didn't engage me. I barely laughed at all, and the ending was dumb and full of holes. I can't believe they actually made sequels to this.
