Review of Slap Shot (1977) by Michael M — 23 Mar 2009
The hilarious, vulgar, violent, and uplifting tale of the Charleston Chiefs in their attempt to be purchased by anyone who'll have them, before they become a tax write off for their current owner. You just don't see a comedy like this anymore.
Paul Newman rules as Reggie Dunlap, the team captain. And the Hanson Brothers, how could I forget the fucking Hansons?
