If you are a true fan of the sport of hockey, I don't need to tell you about "Slap Shot". You've seen it, you quote it, and may even own a Charleston Chiefs jersey. If not, check this one out for one of Newman's best roles.
He's cast against type as a foul-mouthed player/coach for a losing hockey franchise that finds success after enlisting a trio of goons, the Hanson brothers, to brawl they're way into the hearts of their fans; and it works.
