Had heard alot about this movie over the years, but it never interested me. not huge into sports films. finally settled on catching it on cable the other night and i'll be damned if I didn't catch myself laughing out loud through most of it.
paul newman is always amazing to watch, the sherrif from twin peaks does a weird nude ballet thing that frankly, took me off guard and unsettled me slightly, and george roy hill has made two of my favorite films of all time, the sting and butch cassidy and the sundance kid.
also, the hansen brothers were ahead of their time in this. good gravy, they lit me up.
