Review of Slap Shot (1977) by Barrie Q — 30 Jun 2009
The best ice hockey film ever, and a contender for best sports movie as well. The story of Coach Reggie Dunlop (Newman) trying to go out on a high in his last playing season. I'd say that some of the stunts are a far-fetched, but they're all based on real-life incidents.
Old-time-hockey at it's best.
