As a movie, it's far from perfect, but taken as a filmic poem and reflection on the war on drugs, hip hop culture, and institutional racism, it's still extremely relevant and thought provoking.

Just to see Saul Williams perform some of his poetry is worth tracking this film down. Having seen him live, it's amazing how much of his energy and charisma translates to film. The universe speaks through this man, and more people need to start listening.
