Review of Slacker Uprising (2007) by Patrick K — 21 Nov 2008
This is a fun, semi-pointless flick that doesn't exactly deliver the deeply emotional edge that I usually expect from Michael Moore movies. The film is made quite good by a lot of fun celebrity cameos (especially Eddie Vedder and Viggo Mortensen) and the moments when Mike is interviewing/talking about the soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan.
That's the only part of the film that makes one wonder what we're doing as a country.
